When Using the PD100W Mic Kit
In scenes involving podcasts, live streaming, gaming, singing, or voice-over recording with multiple microphones, the microphone monitoring can be adjusted more flexibly. The receiver (RX) supports connectivity for up to two microphones, offering diverse possibilities and flexibility for monitoring outputs.We provide selectable options for Mic (PD100W-1), Mic (PD100W-2), and Computer/Smartphone. Once an option is selected, you can monitor the audio from the chosen device through your headphones. Below are usage explanations for specific scenarios to assist you.
⚠️Note: Identical desktop microphones typically display as PD100W-1 and PD100W-2。 And different microphone models will show their respective device names.
💡Examples:
● Podcasting
During podcast recording, you typically need to monitor a mixed output of multiple audio sources. Select Mic (PD100W-1), Mic (PD100W-2), and Computer/Mobile to hear the mixed audio.
● Gaming
When gaming with teammates, select only Computer/Mobile to monitor both teammate communications and game audio. The computer's audio output will be delivered through the PD100W's monitoring port.
● Live Streaming
Solo Stream (using PD100W-1): Select Computer/Mobile.
Stream with Assistant: Select your Mic (PD100W-1), the assistant’s Mic (PD100W-2), and Computer/Mobile to receive prompts from your assistant. Alternatively, use a T1 Plus Lavalier Mic for the assistant,will be betters.
🔰Assistant Setup:In the secondary microphone settings, select only Your Mic (PD100W-1) and Computer under "Mix Output".
● Singing
When singing, you need to monitor both your own voice and the music accompaniment. To do this, check both "Computer"(Playback) and "PD100W" in your monitor output settings. If you have backing vocals, apply the same settings to the backing vocalist's microphone:
⚠️Note:Set the input source to "Stereo Mode" (below the level meter) for easier post-production editing.
● Recording
Select only Your Mic (PD100W) to monitor your real-time vocal performance. Deselect Computer/Smartphone to avoid accidental interference.
When using T1 Plus Mic Kit
When two T1 Plus units operate together, monitoring outputs will differ. Wireless lavalier microphones typically require identical settings, so we apply the same configuration to both mics in the setup page.
🔊Monitoring Modes:
● Self Monitoring:
Monitor your own microphone Self Monitoring.
● PC/Mobile:
Monitor audio output from your computer or phone.
● Remote Monitoring:
Monitor the partner's microphone.
Customize your monitoring mix by combining these modes according to your needs. By default, we preset All Mixes monitoring.
⚠️Note:The PC/Mobile option becomes unavailable when speaker output is active.
