Why does my microphone automatically power off after a few minutes?

Download

Applicable Models: DM40 Series, PD100W, PD200W, and other wireless desktop microphones.

How it Works (Auto-Power Off Mechanism)

To optimize battery life, these microphones feature a built-in Auto-Savings Mode. If the Transmitter (Mic body) fails to pair or establish a stable connection with the Receiver within 3 minutes, the system will automatically shut down to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

Troubleshooting Steps

If your microphone powers off unexpectedly, it is usually due to one of the following two reasons:

1. Pairing Disconnection

  • Issue: The transmitter is turned on but cannot "find" the receiver.

  • Solution: Please refer to the "Manual Pairing Guide" for your specific model to re-pair the transmitter and receiver.

2. Power Supply or Recognition Issues (Receiver)

  • Issue: The host device (smartphone/computer) is not providing power to the receiver, causing the connection link to break.

  • Solution:

    • For Smartphone Users: Ensure that OTG Power Supply is enabled in your phone's settings (required for most Android devices).

    • For Computer Users: Check if the system's "Device Manager" recognizes the receiver as a new hardware device. Try reconnecting the receiver or plugging it into a different USB port to ensure it is properly activated.
