How to select monitor output?
When using a microphone combination
In scenes such as podcasting, live streaming, gaming, singing, and voice - over recording, when using multiple microphones in combination, microphone monitoring can be adjusted more flexibly. The receiver (RX) can be connected to a maximum of two microphones. Therefore, there are various combination possibilities and flexibility in the monitoring output. We provide options for Mic1, Mic2, and the computer (or mobile phone). Mic1 refers to your current microphone, and Mic2 refers to another microphone. Usually, after checking the option, you can hear the sound source of the checked device through the headset. Here, we have provided instructions for use in some scenarios, hoping to be helpful to you. (Note: The same type of desktop microphones are usually distinguished by suffixes, and different types will display the microphone name).
💡For example:
● Podcasting
During podcast recording, it is usually necessary to hear the mixed output of multiple sound sources. At this time, you can check Mic1, Mic2, and the computer (or mobile phone), and what you hear will be a mix.
● Gaming
When fighting side - by - side with teammates, if you want to hear the voices of your teammates and the game, you only need to check the computer (or mobile phone), and then the sound from the computer can be output through the monitoring port of the microphone.
● Live Streaming
During live streaming, if you are live - streaming alone (using Mic1 yourself), usually checking the computer (or mobile phone) is enough. If you also have an assistant to help and need to hear some prompts from the assistant, you need to check the assistant's Mic2 or a lavalier microphone T1 Plus. In this way, the assistant can help you deal with some live - streaming malfunctions as quickly as possible.
🔰Assistant settings: In the mix output of the second microphone settings page, only check your microphone Mic1 and the computer.
● Singing
When singing, you need to monitor your own voice and the music accompaniment. At this time, check the accompaniment sound output from the computer and the microphone. If you also have a backup singer, set the backup singer's microphone in the same way (set the sound input to stereo mode below the level display, which is convenient for your post - processing).
● Voice - over Recording
When creating a voice - over, if you need to hear your own voice status in real - time, you only need to check your microphone and uncheck the computer (or mobile phone) sound to avoid some unexpected interference.
