| Q1: Why can't my Windows PC or Mac system recognize this sound card at all? | 1. The PS22 Lite is powered by connecting to your computer or mobile device via a USB-C interface. Please ensure a stable connection. 2. Try connecting the PS22 Lite with a different compatible cable for testing. 3. Ensure that your Windows system's "Microphone Privacy Settings" or Mac's "Security & Privacy" settings have enabled applications to access and use this audio device. |
| Q2: Why can't I directly plug my USB microphone into this sound card? | 1. This sound card uses an analog audio interface. The USB port on the front panel is only for connecting to a computer/mobile phone and does not support connecting a digital USB microphone. 2. The USB microphone has a built-in independent sound card chip and cannot be physically connected to another sound card. A standard XLR (Cannon) microphone must be used with this device. |
| Q3. Why was there no USB cable included when I opened the package? | 1. Provide photos of the main product and all accessories. 2. Provide the serial number (SN). 3. Check if the product packaging has a white LPN label. |
| Q4. Why is the sound only coming from the left earphone and not the right earphone when I record it? | Regarding your question about the HP Out 1/2 displaying stereo in the software but sounding as mono in headphones, this is usually related to the default routing matrix settings in Maono Routing Center. 1. How to restore stereo (software adjustment): Based on the screenshot you provided, you can manually remap the channels in the software to achieve stereo. Please refer to the vcIn 1/2 routing matrix in the software below: 2. Answering your questions: Is the design supported for stereo? Yes, the PS22 Lite fully supports stereo output. However, some default routing presets may aggregate the signal into mono for easier monitoring, which can be customized through the software matrix. Factors determining left and right channel separation? The main factor is the matrix node allocation in the Maono Routing Center software. Known limitations? There is no hardware limitation forcing mono. As long as the HP Out 1/2 routing points are correctly mapped to independent left and right channels, you will get full stereo sound. |

| Q5. Why is the recording volume so low? Why does the sound become electronic or popping after increasing the gain? | 1. If using a high-impedance dynamic microphone (such as the SM7B), the sound card may struggle to drive it directly. Please increase the "Input Volume/Level" settings within your computer system first, rather than blindly increasing the hardware gain. If increasing the gain results in a robotic or electronic sound, it's usually due to a mismatch between the computer system's sampling rate and the recording software. In the Windows sound control panel, please adjust the device's properties to "24-bit, 48000Hz (Studio Quality)". |
| Q6. Why do I hear loud, unpleasant electrical noises, static, or buzzing in my headphones? | 1.Avoid interference: Keep phones, routers, and RGB lights away from the interface and microphone (dynamic mics are sensitive to magnetic fields) 2.Check cables: Replace the XLR cable for testing 3.Adjust gain: Set the Gain knob around the 2–3 o’clock position, not at maximum 4.Laptop users: Unplug the power adapter and test using battery power. |
| 7.Does PS22 Lite Support Bluetooth, Reverb, or Noise Reduction? | 1.PS22 Lite does not support Bluetooth, built-in reverb, or noise reduction. 2.It is an audio interface designed for recording, and audio effects should be added in your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). |
| Q8. Why can't this device be used on my Samsung S23 Ultra (or other Android/iPad)? | 1. The Samsung S23 Ultra and some newer iPad models have an extremely stringent OTG digital audio handshake protocol. Insufficient power supply from the phone itself can cause the sound card chip to fail to complete the handshake during the initial connection phase. 2. Please use a dual-ended Type-C data cable with independent power supply. First, connect the sound card's independent power supply port (DC 5V) to an external charger for stable power, and then connect the data port to the phone. |
| 9. Why Is the Audio Distorted? | 1.When the Gain indicator turns red, clipping (signal overload) occurs. 2.Lower the Gain so the indicator only flashes yellow at the loudest level. 3.When singing high notes, keep a greater distance from the microphone. |
| 10. Hearing Echo or Delay in Headphones? | This happens when software monitoring and hardware monitoring are both enabled. 1.Hardware monitoring: Direct Monitor provides zero latency 2.Software monitoring: Monitoring in Cubase/Audition introduces latency and is only recommended when you need to hear plugin effects in real time 3.Solution: Disable monitoring in your recording software and use Direct Monitor only |
