Q1、How to Use Maono Link with Wave T1 Mini Pro

A:Connecting to a Phone

After removing the transmitter and receiver from the charging case, connect the receiver to the bottom data port of your phone. The app will load the settings interface once the transmitter and receiver are successfully paired.

Q2、How to Connect Wave T1 Mini Pro to a Mobile Phone

A:Take out the transmitter and receiver, then press and hold the power button on the transmitter for 2 seconds to power it on. Next, plug the receiver into the data port at the bottom of your phone. A steady blue light indicates a successful connection.

Note: The connection procedure is identical for iPhone 14 and earlier models; only the adapter type differs.

 

Q3、The Wave T1 Mini Pro battery life is less than 5 hours, with short endurance

A:Battery life can reach 5 hours when using the original sound mode.
 
When noise cancellation is turned on, extra processing power is required to handle noise reduction, which will lead to a noticeable drop in battery runtime.
 
This is a normal occurrence.
 

Q4、No Response After Connecting Wave T1 Mini Proto Mobile Phone

A:For some OPPO/VIVO phones, enable OTG in phone settings before connecting the microphone. Also, set the default recording device to external device.

Q5、How to adjust the gain on the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:Please use the Maono Link software to adjust the gain in real time for optimal audio performance.
 

Q6、How to charge the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:A Slow-flashing red indicator light on the transmitter means low battery. Follow the steps below to charge:
Take out the transmitter , peel off the insulating film on their bottom, then place them into the charging case to charge.
 

Q7、Does the Type-C phone version of Wave T1 Mini Pro support iPhone 15 and 16?

 A:The Type-C version of Wave T1 Mini Pro is compatible with iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series.
 
 

Q8、What is the maximum transmission range of the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:In an open environment free of signal interference:

- Handheld phone, face-to-face recording: Max transmission range exceeds 100 meters;
- Handheld phone, back-to-back recording: Max transmission range exceeds 10 meters;
- Phone fixed on a stand, face-to-face recording: Max transmission range exceeds 150 meters;
- Phone fixed on a stand, back-to-back recording: Max transmission range is about 30 meters.

 

Q9、How to pair the transmitter and receiver of the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:Connect the receiver to your mobile phone. With the transmitter powered off, long press its pairing button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status indicator will flash blue during pairing, and turn solid blue once pairing is completed successfully.

 

Q10、Does the Wave T1 Mini Pro support noise cancellation? How to turn it on?

A:Press the noise cancellation button on either the transmitter to enable or disable the function; the indicator light will turn green when activated.
 
Noise reduction levels can be adjusted via both the Maono Link software and the receiver, with three preset modes available: Slight, Moderate, and Aggressive.
 

Q11、 What should I do if the recording volume of the Wave T1 Mini Pro is too low?

A:You can adjust the output volume in real time using the software gain adjustment function within the Maono Link app.
 

Q12、How to play back the recorded audio and video captured by the Wave T1 Mini Pro through the phone's built-in speaker?

A:Enable the phone speaker output function in the Maono Link app, then you can play your recorded media files directly.
 

Q13、The camera trigger function does not respond when triple-tapping the noise cancellation button on Wave T1 Mini Pro.

A:This function only works when your phone is on the photo or video recording interface.
 
 
Q14、Why can't I take photos when Wave T1 Mini Pro is connected to a camera?
 
A:The remote shooting function is not supported when the device is connected to a camera.
 

Q15、How to activate the microphone mute function on the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:Double-tap the noise reduction button on the transmitter to turn the mute function on or off.
 

Q16、How to enable stereo mode on the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:The mono or stereo mode options will only become available once two transmitters are successfully connected simultaneously.
 

Q17、How to enable the color identification indicator lights on the Wave T1 Mini Pro transmitters?

A:This function is disabled by default at the factory and needs to be toggled manually within the Maono Link app.
 
When noise cancellation is active, the transmitter will display green light as priority. Turning off noise cancellation will reveal the distinct color indicator assigned to each transmitter.
 

Q18、How to enable the reverberation function on the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:You need to manually toggle the reverb switch within the Maono Link app, and select different reverb intensity levels as needed.
 

Q19、How to upgrade the firmware of the Wave T1 Mini Pro?

A:Open the option menu by tapping the icon at the top right corner inside the Maono Link app. Select "Firmware Upgrade" to scan for available new firmware versions; detailed version information will be displayed on the interface once an update is detected. Tap "Firmware Upgrade" to start the installation process. After the upgrade finishes, reconnect the microphone to ensure the new firmware takes full effect.

Important Notes:

1.The firmware update cannot be completed if any transmitter (TX) has less than 20% battery power. Please make sure all transmitters are sufficiently charged before updating.

2.On the PC version of Maono Link, the yellow dot reminder for firmware upgrade in the top-right corner will not appear if any transmitter (TX) battery level drops below 20%.

Q21、How to switch to Stereo mode on Wave T1 Mini Pro?
