Q1. How to Use Maono Link with Wave T1 Pro
A. Connection with Mobile Phone
Take out the transmitter and receiver from the charging case, then plug the receiver into the charging port at the bottom of your phone. Launch the Maono Link app to start using it.
Note: The app will only load the full setting interface after the transmitter and receiver are successfully paired.

Note: Maono Link is not yet available for Huawei HarmonyOS.
Q2. How to Connect Wave T1 Pro to a Mobile Phone
- For general mobile phones: Take out the transmitter and receiver. Press and hold the power button of the transmitter for 2 seconds to power it on. Connect the receiver to the bottom port of your phone. A solid blue indicator light means the connection is successful.
- For iPhone 14 and older models: The connection steps are the same; only the adapter cable differs.
Q3. Short Battery Life (Less Than 5 Hours)
The microphone can last for 5 hours continuously in Original Sound Mode.
When Noise Cancellation is enabled, extra power is consumed for noise reduction processing, which will slightly shorten the battery life. This is a normal condition.
Q4. No Response After Connecting Wave T1 Pro to Mobile Phone
For some OPPO and vivo phones, please enable the OTG function in phone Settings first.
Tip: Turn on OTG before connecting the microphone.
Besides, go to Settings and set the Default Recording Device to External Device.
Q5. Volume & Gain Adjustment

Adjust the gain in real time via the Maono Link app to achieve optimal audio performance.
6. Charging Instructions for Wave T1 Pro
A slowly flashing red indicator light on the transmitter indicates low battery. Follow the steps below to charge the device:
- 2 Transmitters + 2 Receivers Set: Remove the transmitter and receiver, peel off the insulating films on their bottoms, then place them into the charging case for charging.
- 2 Transmitters + 1 Receiver Set: Remove the transmitter and receiver, peel off the insulating films on their bottoms, then place them into the charging case for charging.
Note: The mobile phone version receiver requires no charging.
7. Compatibility: Type-C Version with iPhone 15 / iPhone 16
The Type-C version of Wave T1 Pro is fully compatible with iPhone 15 and iPhone 16.
8. Maximum Transmission Range
In an open and interference-free environment:
- Handheld phone, face-to-face recording: Over 100 meters
- Handheld phone, back-to-back recording: Over 10 meters
- Mounted on bracket, face-to-face recording: Over 150 meters
- Mounted on bracket, back-to-back recording: Around 30 meters
9. Pairing Transmitter and Receiver
Mobile Phone Version
- Connect the receiver to your mobile phone.
- With the transmitter powered off, press and hold its pairing button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- The indicator light will flash blue during pairing.
- A solid blue light confirms successful pairing.
10. Noise Cancellation Function & Activation
Wave T1 Pro supports noise cancellation. Press the noise cancellation button on the transmitter or receiver to turn this function on or off. The indicator light will turn green when it is activated.
You can adjust noise cancellation levels via the Maono Link app or the receiver. Three presets are available: Gentle, Balanced, Aggressive.
11. Low Recording Volume
Mobile Phone Version
Increase the output volume in real time using the gain adjustment feature in the Maono Link app.
12. Playback Recorded Audio/Video via Phone Speaker
Enable the phone speaker function inside the Maono Link app to play your recorded audio or video files.
13. Camera Trigger (Triple Press on Noise Cancellation Button)
This function only works when your phone is in camera or video recording mode.
14. Microphone Mute Function
Double-press the noise cancellation button on the transmitter to turn mute on or off.
15. Stereo Mode Activation
Stereo or mono mode options become available only after two transmitters are both connected successfully.
16. Microphone Status Indicator (Color Recognition Light)
The color indicator light is disabled by default. You can turn it on manually in the Maono Link app.
When noise cancellation is enabled, the transmitter indicator stays green. Disable noise cancellation to view the corresponding color changes of each transmitter.
17. Reverb Function Activation
Enable the reverb function and select different reverb levels manually in the Maono Link app.
