| A04 Series | Q1: Why is it not recognized in Maono Link? | After carefully verifying the product model information, we would like to sincerely clarify the following: the specific microphone model you are currently using is not compatible with the MAONO Link software. This product was designed and positioned as a "plug-and-play" microphone and, as such, is not equipped with the corresponding software system functionalities. Consequently, the official product page does not feature any links for software settings or notifications regarding software compatibility. Should you encounter any issues while using the product, please do not hesitate to let us know. You can fully adjust all input parameters for your microphone—including common settings such as input volume and sound boost—directly through the "Sound Settings" function on your computer or mobile device. These built-in system settings are sufficient to meet all your daily usage and adjustment needs. |
This applies to the A04; The A04 does not come with any software. |
| Q2:The audio is unclear and unsatisfied. | If you are experiencing unclear recording sound and unsatisfactory audio quality with your microphone, please follow the simple troubleshooting steps below firstly: 1. Adjust proper microphone gain: Excessively high gain will cause muffled, distorted and unclear vocals; please turn down the gain appropriately. 2. Keep a standard pickup distance: Maintain 15-20cm between your mouth and the microphone, and avoid breathing wind noise or overly close pickup. 3. Reset computer sound settings: Turn off Windows built-in microphone enhancement and automatic noise reduction, which often lead to unnatural and blurry sound. 4. Avoid nearby electronic interference: Place the microphone away from monitors, chargers and wireless devices to eliminate subtle background noise affecting sound clarity. If the audio quality still fails to get better after above adjustments, please kindly provide us with: 1. A complete video showing your full microphone connection process and computer sound setting page; 2. A test audio recorded via your computer's original built-in Voice Recorder, without any third-party software or post sound editing. Our technical team will analyze your actual recording sound and usage environment, then provide targeted professional tuning solutions for you promptly. |

| Q2: Microphone is recognized but there is no sound | 1. Make sure the microphone is properly connected to the USB port of your computer (it is recommended to use a USB port on the back of the host to avoid insufficient power supply). 2. Go to the "More Sound Settings" on your computer, set the PD200X as the default recording device. Ensure that the recording volume is not muted and the recording level is set to an appropriate level. Turn off exclusive mode, and grant privacy app permissions for the microphone. 3. Plug headphones into the headphone jack and check whether you can monitor the microphone's sound through the headphones. 4. Close any third-party software and use the recording function within the Maono Link software directly. While recording, does the volume bar show any movement? 5. If the issue persists, please refer to the following link for troubleshooting documentation: https://faq.maono.com/docs/How-to-fix-USB-devices-with-no-sound 6. Try using the microphone with a different device to see if there is sound when recording on your phone. Please provide a video demonstrating the volume bar movement and the computer settings while testing the recording function in Maono Link. |
