Product Features

1.  Connection

    DM40 Live supports connection to the mobile phone charging port via the wireless microphone receiver and a USB cable.

    Open the Maono Link APP. Upon first use, a microphone authorization prompt will appear. You must grant authorization to enable microphone control functions. If authorization is denied, you will not be able to configure the microphone through Maono Link.

2.  Battery Level Display

    When connected wirelessly, the top of the interface displays the current microphone battery level. Please charge the microphone promptly when the battery is low.

3.  Mute

    A Mic icon is located on the far right. Tap it to quickly mute or unmute the microphone.

4.  Microphone Gain

    Adjust the microphone input gain using the slider, with a range from -24 dB to 0 dB.

5.  Monitor Volume

    Adjust the volume of the monitoring device using the slider.

6.  Noise Reduction

Preset Noise Reduction:

    Offers three levels: Slight, Moderate, and Aggressive, suitable for different noise environments.

 If noise reduction is not needed, simply turn it off.

7.  Scenes

    Based on product characteristics, we have calibrated multiple usage scenarios and provided various preset sound effect configurations. Custom sound effect configuration is not currently supported on the mobile app. If you need customization, please use Maono Link on a computer for more advanced graphical adjustment features.

    On the mobile app, the available presets include Original, Pop, Rock, Ethnic, Folk, and Rap.

 

● Original

    Preserves your original voice without any processing.

● Pop

    We provide 3 Pop style presets, specifically designed for pop vocals. Reverb is enabled by default to create a spatial atmosphere, adding warmth and thickness to the voice for a listening experience suited to pop music.

● Rock

    We provide 3 Rock style presets, specifically designed for rock vocals. Reverb is enabled by default to create a stage atmosphere, adding powerful intensity to the voice for a listening experience suited to rock music.

● Ethnic

    Specially optimized for the fusion of ethnic music and vocals. We provide three Ethnic style presets. Reverb is enabled by default to create a natural sense of space, adding a full and transparent quality to the voice, making your singing more evocative of traditional music.

● Folk

    Three presets specifically optimized for folk singing and guitar playing. By enhancing low-frequency thickness, strengthening mid-frequency vocal details, and smoothing high-frequency response, combined with the presence brought by reverb, the sound becomes more expressive.

● Rap

    Three RAP-style presets that deliver clear and powerful articulation with enhanced vocal texture, supported by low-frequency rhythm and a small amount of reverb to maintain a dry vocal character for stronger impact and groove.

● Customize

    If presets are adjusted on the computer version, the device will continue using the customized sound effects.

8.  Lighting

    You can turn the microphone lighting effect on/off and adjust its brightness. Tap "Lighting" to open the lighting settings menu.

    Lighting supports three modes: Static, Loop, and Breathing.

    Brightness can be adjusted on the left, with a range from 0-100%.

    Color can be selected at the bottom. In Loop mode, the lighting will automatically cycle through all colors.

9.  External Output

    When enabled, audio from the phone will be played through the phone speaker.

    If you want the phone audio to play through the speaker during use, enable this function. When enabled, the monitoring device will no longer output the phone audio.

10.  Level Display

    You can enable or disable the level display. If no level change is observed during use, please check whether this option is enabled.
