1. RX Settings

1.1 Channel Mode

Three modes are available: Mono, Stereo and Safety Track.
Mono: Both the left and right channels output the same audio signal.
Stereo: When 2 microphones are connected, the left and right channels output the independent tracks of each microphone.
Safety Track: The left channel keeps the original volume while the right channel outputs a backup track attenuated by 9dB to prevent volume overload.
1.2 RX Output Gain

Adjusts the signal gain the RX outputs to the camera / phone / computer. Drag the slider to adjust, with a range of -12dB to +12dB.
1.3 External Output

When enabled, audio plays through the phone speaker; when disabled, audio switches back to the earpiece.
1.4 RX Auto Off

When enabled, the RX powers off automatically if no microphone is connected within 15 minutes.
1.5 Auto On/Off With Camera

When enabled, the RX powers on and off automatically along with the camera when connected via a 3.5mm cable.
1.6 Mic ID

When enabled, the light strip shows purple on Mic1 and cyan on Mic2 while the microphone gain is being adjusted.
2. Mic Settings
Configure microphone parameters. Depending on the number of connected mics, Mic1 Settings / Mic2 Settings are shown, and each microphone is adjusted independently.
2.1 Mic Gain

Two gain modes are available: manual gain and Auto Gain (AGC). Tap the Tab bar to switch modes.

Manual Gain: Slide to adjust the microphone input gain, with a range of 0–100.

Auto Gain (AGC): Automatically adjusts the microphone gain to keep the output balanced, avoiding volume that is too low or overload distortion.
2.2 Noise Reduction

Configure the noise reduction intensity with two modes, Preset and Custom, switched via the Tab bar; NR can also be enabled directly from the mic quick settings on the main interface.

Preset NR: Three levels — Slight, Moderate and Aggressive — fit different noise environments.

Custom NR: Manually adjust the NR intensity, with a range of 0–20.
2.3 Scenes
Multiple sound effect scenes are preset and can be switched as needed. The camera-version RX does not support custom sound effects yet; for richer graphic tuning, use Maono Link on the computer.

The left column lists scenes and the right column shows the audio effects of the current scene. Tap to switch between columns; once selected, swipe up and down or rotate the knob to change parameters within a column.
Original: A flat sound that preserves the original voice.
Stream: Highlights vocals, with 3 streaming presets.
Recording: Optimized for different dubbing scenarios, with 3 recording presets.
Podcast: Optimized for different vocal styles, with 3 podcast presets.
2.4 Recording Bit Depth

Set the recording bit depth of the microphone. 24Bit and 32Bit Float are available.
24Bit: Standard bit depth for everyday recording.
32Bit Float: Retains fuller audio information and leaves more room for post-production.
Note: 32Bit Float files are larger, so the total recording time of the microphone is reduced accordingly.
2.5 Recording File Type

Choose the file type for microphone recordings.
Original File: Raw audio without algorithm processing, preserving the complete recording information.
Processed File: Audio processed by algorithms such as NR and scene effects (only Original File is supported in 32Bit Float).
Note: The bit depth and file type cannot be changed while recording is in progress.
2.6 Storage

Check the remaining recording time of the microphone: about 55 hours in 24Bit and about 45 hours in 32Bit Float. Tap Format to clear the microphone storage.
2.7 Record Settings

Low Power Auto Recording: When enabled, the microphone starts recording automatically when the RX battery drops below 10%.
Startup Auto Recording: When enabled, the microphone starts recording automatically at power-on.
Loop Recording: When enabled, the oldest audio files are overwritten automatically when the storage is full, keeping the latest content.
2.8 Pop Filter

Reduces plosive sounds such as "p" and "b", aspirated sounds such as "t", "k" and "h", as well as the impact of fast airflow when speaking too close.
2.9 De-Esser

Suppresses sharp sibilant sounds such as "s" and "sh", reducing harsh high frequencies without harming the overall tone.
2.10 Mic Level Indicator

Turn the microphone level display on or off; when off, the microphone no longer shows the level in real time.
2.11 Mute Lock

When enabled, tapping the mute key on the microphone light strip has no effect, preventing accidental touches.
3. Monitoring
The camera-version RX has a 3.5mm headphone monitoring jack for real-time monitoring of the microphone sound.
3.1 Monitoring Volume

Adjust the monitoring volume of the RX. Four levels are available.
3.2 Monitoring Output

When 2 microphones are connected, tap to choose the monitoring source.
4. Timecode
The camera-version RX supports high-precision timecode. When enabled, the timecode is written directly into the microphone recordings, and the RX supports timecode input and output, so multi-track audio and video footage can be aligned with one click in post-production software.
4.1 How to Use
Enable Timecode: Turn on the feature in the timecode settings; the RX automatically syncs the standard timecode to the paired microphones.
Set the Frame Rate: Choose the frame rate and keep it consistent with all recording devices (cameras, recorders) to avoid sync drift.
Connect the Device: Choose the output mode according to the interface of the device and complete the connection. See Scenarios below.
4.2 Scenarios
Scenario A | Device with timecode input (L-OUT): Set the output type to L-OUT and connect the RX output to the timecode input of the camera / recorder with a 3.5mm / USB-C cable; the RX then sends the standard timecode signal to the external device.
Scenario B | Device without timecode input (A-OUT): Set the output type to A-OUT and connect the RX to the microphone audio channel of the device via 3.5mm or USB-C; the timecode is recorded as an audio signal, and editing software can align all tracks with one click by reading the timecode track.
Scenario C | Syncing an external timecode device (L-IN): Connect an external timecode device (e.g. Tentacle Sync) via a 3.5mm cable, set the output mode to L-IN, and tap SYNC to complete the sync.
Scenario D | Syncing two RX units: Set one RX to L-OUT (master, sending the signal) and the other to L-IN (slave, receiving), connect them with a 3.5mm cable, then tap SYNC on the slave to sync the timecode from the master.
4.3 Function Reference

Timecode Switch: Turn the timecode feature on or off.

TC Mode: N/A (the RX runs timecode without outputting it); L-IN (syncs the timecode from an external timecode device to the RX, tap SYNC to complete); L-OUT (outputs linear timecode); A-OUT (outputs timecode as audio).

Frame Rate: 29.97F by default; 23.98F / 24F / 25F / 30F / 29.97 DF / 29.97F / 50F / 60F are supported. Keep it consistent with all recording devices.

Sync / Reset: SYNC (tap in L-IN mode to sync the external timecode); RESET (resets the timecode to 00:00:00:00).
Real-time Timing: After the RX is connected to a PC or mobile device, select Real-time Timing in the timecode settings to sync the current time.
